i have just finished teaching a 7 week course at malmö university for the second year bachelor student at the design program design and visual communication [dvk]. the course was on the topic prototypes and technology and aimed at finding ways for product and graphic designers to get inspired by interactivity and technology in there creation of concept.

the invasion of the evil-kaninos occurred a rainy night in malmö.

a workshop about the paper prototyping tool origatronica was held at ars-electronica in the end of october and now origatronica.org is up and running.

aeswad won the spanish competition disonancias and as a member of aeswad, as long as there is life will therefore be part of it. the topic of the project will be emotional evacuation. final results will be presented in february 2007
re-memorize. [2006]

the main idea behind the concept is the old game "memory" where you collect pairs of cards with the same image on. the one with the most pairs win. it is a simple game that requires that you remember a picture and a position.
re-memorize have the same structure but exclude the visual part and work with another sense instead , sound.

a four button keyboard prototype but with the ability to play the hole scale, eight tones from C to C just buy tilting the smal red cube. collaborating with thomas ness in this experiment with sound, tilt sensors and arduino board.

took part in making three outdoor installations at malmöfestivalen.
talking-pipes. makes it possible to talk to other people on the other side of the park.
knock-boxes. a series of chapters from a short story placed out in odd boxes around the pond.

beyond the object. [2005]

beyond the object is an investigation, a reflection in the form of a movie regarding the world of design. the movie tries to explore and understand which role design plays in everyday life, and also what it holds for us in the future. primary focus lies on the visionary aspect, but also the critical aspect of an over designed society. the producers hope that the movie can open up for discussion, and also work as an inspiration tool, both for design students and the design interested public in general.

bikebox is a game that was develop at request from gatukontoret in malmö. it is an interactive game that allows you play “pacman-like” with your fellow bikers. the console is only activated by dynamo when riding your bicycle.

the concept of the lamp is inspired by the expression and the movment of the [sun flower]. the lamp turns after the sun during the day and gleams at dusk and fades out togther with you.

touch communication transmitter is a devise that allows you send and receive movement. it is update of the classic pager and discuses the decrease of human physical touch.

the catalog was made for the final exhibition of LTH and MAH students on form/design-center in malmö 2004. on the backside of each card there is information about the exhibitors and the are all marked by one color. By placing the cards in the catalog box you are able to navigate your way to the exhibitor of your choice by looking were the color-dots appears on the map.

every-day heroes is a project that started simultaneous in istanbul and malmö. the main idea was to create a tool that on one hand could explore and give understanding of cities in a new way and on the other hand would deal with issues of social questions, integration and commercial expansion.
the goal is to activate these central persons even more and let them become generators in the discussion about the city we live in.
